Learn To Skate Program

The Basic Skills Program:  THE PLACE TO START!!!

The USFSA Basic Skills curriculum is designed to "keep skaters enthusiastic about learning to skate from the time they begin lessons until they reach their goals", recreational or competitive.

There are 8 levels which are graded from elementary elements right through beginning spins and jumps.  Each builds upon basics learned from the previous level and this program is the same throughout the United States!

The Skating Club of Amherst has classes arranged by age and level for 4 year olds through adults.  An experienced professional heads each class with the help of qualified advanced skaters providing flexibility and personal attention.

Whether a beginner or one needing to brush up on fundamentals, the Basic Skills classes are certainly THE PLACE TO START!!!
